The “Patch UNX” Split Hoodie is a simplistic but beautiful piece. The coloring is perfect for the fall aesthetic and the patched embroidery is a concept we haven’t touched since February. For this release, we thought of no better way to bring it back! The patch fabric will be done uniquely on each piece!

The “Graffiti” Hoodie is one piece that we most attribute to our move to Los Angeles. Although Kentucky did have graffiti artwork in urban areas, the larger city of Los Angeles inhabits beautiful work in every concrete location. Believing that the work of paint color deserves more mainstream spotlight than the underpasses allow, Ryan created the samples from actual spray paint. However, to assure longevity of quality, the product sold above is a replica of an original piece made using tactics to mirror the same look. Each one looks individualized from the rest and is constructed from heavyweight fabric to curate a high end quality without sacrificing comfortability.

The “Cost of Money” Split Hoodie is one of seven split hoodies being released with “The December Collection”. Crafted from two individual hoodies, this style is a staple within our brand. Each hoodie is cut directly down the middle, then resewn with a contrasting color to create the finished garment. In this style, the two hands are representative of far more than they display. Greed always comes with a cost, far beyond any monetary value. Alternatively, happiness is free. Always choose happiness!

Description: The “Mascot in Black” Hoodie is constructed using 14oz fleece fabric fully made in the USA with domestic textiles, supplies, and labor. The concept of the design is to preserve simplicity with the tone on tone look, while still allowing creativity in the patched elbow puff prints. The garment is beautifully made; and although simple, the process of curating the correct style and fit was lengthy and intensive.

The “Respect The Youth”  Split Hoodie draws back on our earliest days as a business. Starting with the message to uplift and inspire the youth, Ryan, Finley, and Dylan sought to draw on the creativity and aspiration of the younger generation. Times are changing, don’t get caught in the past.

The “UNX Diamonds” Hoodie is made with a heavyweight, loose construction and is beautifully decorated with 120 crystals spelling out “UNX”. The picture, unfortunately, will never give this hoodie the justice it deserves. The shiny look of crystals in light makes this piece one of our best.

The “Splotchy Storm” Sweatpants, are a midweight, beautifully constructed piece with a tie dye look that mirrors a dark and stormy night. The 14oz brushed fleece gives a heavy, but comfortable feel; and the simplicity of the embroidery assists in curating the perfect garment. Each pair is cuffed loosely at the bottom, and fully made in the USA with domestic textiles  supplies, and labor.

The “Grass” Shorts are constructed from a rug styled fabric we accidentally found in downtown Los Angeles. The unconventional use was streetwear clothing, but Unxpectd is all about the unconventional and diverted use of surrounding resources. Nonetheless, art cannot be kept inside, you must let nature sculpt your thoughts, and take inspiration from your ever-changing surroundings.
